Description A well funded wireless semiconductor start-up company in Newton, MA is searching for a Software Engineer to help build complex real-time Windows Applications in Assembler/C++ for a mobile receiver environment. We're looking for an energetic team contributor to port intensive signal processing algorithms to a real-time Intel architecture platform application. A desirable candidate would have the capability to understand the objective of the algorithms (written in MATLAB) and be able to port and optimize them using C/C++ and in particular SSE/SSE2/SSE3 ISA.
Qualifications
C/C++/SIMD real-time programming experience
Windows application and/or DSP programming experience
Knowledge of x86 and SSE/SSE2/SSE3 ISA
Highly skilled at identifying promising optimization opportunities through performance optimization, debugging and profiling programs
DSP coding experience a plus
Familiarity with Vista operating system a plus
Device driver experience with Vista a plus
IT and operating system experience a plus
Knowledge of audio and video signal processing techniques a plus
Familiarity with compilers - code generation and low-level optimization a plus
At least a BS, EE or CS, MS preferred
2+ years experience minimum, further opportunities possible for more experienced candidates
