Description · Proactively provide FAE support for network communication IC products and ATM and IP network processors at major equipment vendors across EMEA with a focus on Central Europe
· Achieve design win goals and develop design-in opportunities into wins
· Solve customer technical problems and proactively support customers from win through the complete product development cycle
· Maintain customer support excellence by working productively with account sales teams
· Prepare and deliver customer technical selling presentations and product training
· Develop and maintain personal proficiency in network IC technologies
· Contribute to new product definition, creation of application notes, articles and technical conference papers
Qualifications · Degree in electronic engineering or similar
· Minimum of 5 years experience in wireless/wireline communication systems or applications
· An understanding of processor engines from a hardware and software programming standpoint
· Applied experience in wireless and/or wireline telecommunication system design using ATM and IP protocols
· DSP knowledge and experience would be desirable
· Ideally experience of working directly with European Telecom customers
· Fluent English and German, fluency in other European languages would be advantageous
· Self driven individual, technical and commercial skill set which enables customer interaction at development engineering meetings
