BrightScale (formerly Connex Technology) has developed a groundbreaking
digital video processing technology for the next generation of digital
television (DTV) and multimedia products.BrightScale's programmable video
platform (PVP)is based on a unique programmable array processing technology.
This disruptive massively parallel architecture has been optimized with
consumer digital video in mind.
This position requires the candidate to be hands on in the area of compiler
technology. Strong technical background and proven expertise in working with
SIMD machines is a must. The position will also require some management role
in growing a strong team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee the existing tool set maintenance
- Responsible for continuous performance improvements
- Ownership of the IDE for hetrogenous multiprocessor environment
- Provide impact analysis of new instructions to architects
