Job Description * Will be working as part of the compiler development team in developing / extending / customizing Compilers and compiler tool chains based on GCC tool chain. • Work in design, development and support of of GCC toolchain for Atmel's microcontrollers. Desired profile • 4 to 10 years of industry experience in compiler technology and related backend tools. • Experience in the construction of compilers for embedded processors • Experience in working on GCC, GNU Binutils, C libraries * Good written and verbal communication skills in English • Experience in embedded processor architectures and concepts and software tools for embedded processors • Good Analytical and problem solving skills * Autonomous, creative and pro-active team player • Experience in working with large, open source software projects, a big plus Preferred Skills: • Experience in working on all aspects of the GNU toolchain: assembler, linker, compiler, C libraries, utilities • Knowledge of popular embedded processors, e.g., AVR, ARM, MIPS, DSPs • Experience working in Cygwin and MinGW environments.
Qualifications Education: • Masters / Bachelors degree in CS Experience: • 4+ years of hands on experience in compiler construction, exposure to GCC tool chains, open source work environment and processes.
